NOVEMBER 27, 1985 TO: FILE FROM: Building Inspector II 1812 HIGHRIDGE: SEWER CLEANOUT During a routine building inspection__ today, :r·-puIIed· the house sewer cleanout cover o 812 Highrid at Telescope Point. Upon close inspection, I noticed mud in the bottom of the cleanout riser. I pushed my tape measure down the riser and felt no resistance except for mud. I could, also, move the riser; indicating that it was not connected to the sewer line. I wrote a Correction Notice and returned to the office. I told Senior Building Inspector Tony Mata of the situation and we returned with a camera and took a series of photos of the cleanout, riser, and of actually removing the bogus riser. It was indeed a phony cleanout. Louie Montanez and Larry Willey of Utilities and Maintenance were notified and observed the phony cleanout • It was, also, noted that the property line cleanout was non-conforming and would also have to be replaced.
