Corporation, 9320 Chesapeake Drive, Suite 208, San Diego, CA 92123,
(858) 560-1468. Deliver all remaining sets of plans and calculationsheports
directly to the City of Carlsbad Building Department for routing to their
Planning, Engineering and Fire Departments.

is an appendix chapter and not adopted by the City. UBC Section
2902.3 applies to this tenant space. Bath rooms for each sex is
required where the number of employees exceeds four.

residential projects). For expeditious processing, corrected sets can be submitted

Reference the section view of all new interior partitions shown on sheet a-3 to
the location on the floor plan where they apply.
Provide notes andlor details to show that the floor and wall finish in toilet rooms
are surfaced with a smooth hard non-absorbent material extending five inches up
the wall. Similar surfacing shall be provided on the walls from the floor to a height
of 4 feet around urinals and within water closet compartments. Section 807.
Provide rest rooms for each sex per the UBC and the 1997 UPC where the floor
area of the tenant space exceeds 1500 sq ft.
