Provide a statement on the Title Sheet of the plans stating that this project shall
comply with Title 24 and the 1991 - UBC, UMC and UPC and the 1995 - NEC.
Special inspection is required, the architect or engineer of record shall prepare

area of at least 5.7 square feet with the minimum openable width 20" and the
minimum openable height 24". The emergency door or window shall be
openable from the inside to provide a full, clear opening without the use of
separate tools. Section 310.4. Note on the plans.

GENERAL
1. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY ALL DIMENSIONS BEFORE STARTING
WORK, AND NOTIFY THE DESIGNERENGINEER IMMEDIATELY OF ANY
DISCREPANCIES FOUND.
2. SPECIFIC NOTES AND DETAILS SHALL TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER THESE
GENERAL NOTES AND THE TYPICAL DETAILS ON THIS SHEET IN CASE OF
CONFLICT.
3. WHERE NO CONSTRUCTION DETAILS ARE SHOWN OR NOTED FOR ANY PART
