Corridors and exterior exit balconies serving
50 or more occupants must be a minimum 4L inches wide and 7 feet high to the lowest projection. A minimum width of 36 inches may be used if the occupant load is 49 or less. Section 3305 (b).

Doors shall be maintained self-closing or be automatic- closing by action of a smoke detector per Section 4306 (a). Doors shall be gasketed to provide a smoke and draft seal where the door meets the stop on sides and top. Section 3305 (h).
Total area of all openings, except doors, in any portion of an interior corridor, shall not exceed 25 percent of the area of the corridor wall of the room which it is separating from the corridor. Such openings shall be protected by fixed glazing listed and labeled for a fire-protection rating of at least 314- hour. Section 3305 (h).
