within the building which exceed the
quantities listed in UBC Tables 9-A and 9-B.

A complete description of the activities and
processes that will occur in this tenant space should be provided. A listing of all
hazardous materials should be included. The
materials listing should be, stated in a form
that would make classification in Tables 9-A
and 9-B possible. The building official may
require a technical report to identify and
develop methods of protection from hazardous

provided. (UBC Table 23-?) -Where ceiling is
not supporting interior partitions, ceiling
bracing shall be provided by four No. 12 gauge
wires secured to the main runner within 2
inches of the cross runner intersection and
splayed 90 degrees from each other at an angle
not exceeding 45 degrees from the plane of the
ceiling. A strut (adequate to resist the
vertical component from lateral loads) fastened
to the main runner shaft-be extended to and
fastened to the structural members of the roof
or floor above. These horizontal restraint
points shall be placed 12 feet o.c. in both
directions with the first point within- 6 feet
of each wall. Attachment 'of restraint wires to
the structure above shall be adequate for the
