The occupant load information and egress diagram on sheet CSI indicates two exits are required based on an occupant load of 50. this is the code requirement. However, you are showing that the 2"d exit is accessed through the storage room. Exits may pass through adjacent rooms but not kitchens or store rooms. UBC 1004.2.2. The occupant load that I determine based on the uses and eliminating the area of the rest room is only 45 occupants and requires only one exit. Revise the plans to show only one exit is required or extend the one hour rated exit corridor through the store room. 2. Show in detail 19/A5.1 lateral support for the top of the wall that supports the glass store front. 3. Specify on sheet A5.1 the thickness and type of store front glass you intend to install. 4. The ENV-1 and MECH-1 section of the energy form PERF-1 imprinted on sheet M-2 must be signed by the professionals assuming design responsibility for the sections of the energy design. The words "NO PARKING" shall be painted on the ground within each loading and unloading access aisle (in white letters no less than 12' high and located so that it is visible to traffic enforcement officials).
