regulating energy conservation, noise attenuation and access for the disabled This plan review
is based on regulations enforced by the Building Department You may have other corrections
based on laws and ordinances enforced by the Planning Department, Engineering Department,
Fire Department or other departments Clearance from those departments may be required

The following items listed need clarification, modification or change All items must be satisfied

602-2700 The City will route the plans to EsGil Corporation and the Carlsbad
Planning, Engineering and Fire Departments
2 Bring one corrected set of plans and calculations/reports to EsGil Corporation,

*• Deliver all remaining sets of plans and calculations/reports directly to the City of
Carlsbad Building Department for routing to their Planning, Engineering and Fire

NOTE Plans that are submitted directly to EsGil Corporation only will not be

1 Each sheet of the plans must be signed by the person responsible for their

3 UBC Section 107 2 requires the Building Official to determine the total value of

work, painting, roofing, electrical, plumbing, heating, air conditioning, elevator,
fire extinguishing systems and any other permanent equipment Please provide
the designer's or contractor's construction cost estimate of all work proposed
4 Please note on the plans "AC Cable is not allowed in A, B, E, H, and I
occupancies NM cable is restricted (without City approval) to one and two
family dwellings Note on plans that an equipment ground conductor is to be
installed in all flexible conduits"
5 Please provide details or notes showing the new suspended ceiling complies
with the minimum code standards in seismic zone 4 for lateral bracing consisting
.of 4-12ga wires splayed at 90° and 45° at every 12' on center and vertical
compression struts every 12'
