BUILDING PIANCHECK NO. 90-1161
This is an response to your letter addressed to Mr. Ray Patchett, City Manager. I have
reviewed your letter requesting a waiver of street improvements on Magnolia Avenue. I
have also had a field review done of the existing and proposed improvements along
Magnolia Avenue and Monroe Street. That field review indicates that a majority of
Magnolia Avenue already has curb gutter and sidewalk. The property to your east, 3657
Monroe, will be required to install curb, gutter and sidewalk which would connect to the
improvements that you would be required to install.
Based on the field review and in compliance with Chapter 18.40.070 of the Municipal Code
referring to deferral of improvements, the required findings cannot be made for deferral.
Therefore, your request cannot be granted.
If you wish to appeal this decision, the procedure would be to file an appeal to City Council
at the City Clerks office within five days of the date of this discission.
