Expiration. Every permit issued by the Building official under the provisions of this Code shall expire by limitation and become null and void if the building

or abandoned at any time after the work is commenced for a period of 180 days (Section 303(d) Uniform Building Code).

Confirming my telephone conversation with you, the subject building
permit is revoked.
Both your association and the City of Carlsbad approved your application
for a permit in an open space easement. I have discussed this with the
president of your association, and I have sent him a map of the area
so no further permits will be issued thereo . -
Because you informed me there was other construction in the open space
I have asked our Enforcement Officer to Investigate.
It was a City error to issue this permit. Consequently you are entitled
