It is understood that the building will be a single story wood frame structure approximately 32 by 65 feet in plan. i The building is to be located in the vicinity of Boring 3 drilled during our previous soils invest- igation for Condominium Unit No. 5. Based on the soil conditions encountered in Boring 3, the recommendations for the design of foundations for the proposed Information - Sales Center are as follows- 1. Use a raised wood joist floor system supported on continuous inter- ^ connected reinforced concrete footings. The footings should'be founded at a minimum depth of two feet below the lowest adjacent ground surface and at least one foot into the firm undisturbed natural ground. Footings so founded may be designed using an allowable bearing value of 1500 pounds per square foot. Reinforce and interconnect continuously with one *5 steel bar at 3 inches above the bottom of the footings and one "5 bar placed 1 1/2 inches below'the top of the stem of the footings. Geiselhart The application must be signed by the owner (or his authorized representative) of the property to be served. The total charges must be paid to the District at the time the application is submitted. If a service lateral is required, it will be installed by the Leucadia County Water District. The service lateral is that part of the sewer system that extends from the main collection line in the street (or easement) to the point in the street (at or near the applicant's property line) where the service lateral is connected to the applicant's building sewer. The applicant) is responsible for the construction, at the applicant,s expense, of the sewer pipeline (building sewer) from the applicant's plumbing to the point in the street (or easement) where a connection is made to the service lateral. The connection of the applicant's building sewer to the service lateral shall be made by the applicant at his expense. The connection must be made in conformity with the District's specifications, rules and regulations; and IT MUST BE INSPECTED AND APPROVED BY THE DISTRICT BEFORE THE SEWER SYSTEM MAY BE USED BY THE APPLICANT. THE APPLICANT, OR HIS AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE, MUST NOTIFY THE DISTRICT AT THE TIME INSPECTION IS DESIRED. ANY CONNECTION MADE TO THE SERVICE LATERAL OR COLLECTION LINE WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL AND INSPECTION BY THE DISTRICT WILL BE CONSIDERED INVALID AND WILL NOT BE ACKNOWLEDGED. After connection is complete, the property described above is subject to a monthly sewer service charge, billed bi-monthly in advance.
