Due to the fact that your proposal would involve major modification to the existing topography, as I indicated to you, no single member of the board can give permission on a matter of this type, and if permission is granted it will have to be done by at least a majority of the board and/or possibly including all the members of the Association. As I indicated to Mr. Stork on the telephone, the board is entrusted with the duty of maintaining the integrity of the property, and while we wish to cooperate and would entertain any changes for the better, it is the feeling of the board that the matter should be looked into carefully before giving any permission. Accordingly, I trust that there will be no encroachment, physical or otherwise, to the property belonging to the Fourth La Costa Condominium Owners Association. As soon as the board goes over this matter and has a chance to thoroughly investigate same,^ve will give you our decision in writing.
