1 REMARKS: I. Note on the plans that smoke detectors will be provided inside all existing bed
rms, in the hall serving the bed rms & on each floor level. UBC 310..9.1.2. 2. Window area for
the new hobby rm must be equal to 1/10 of the new floor area. The 6030 window is not sufficient
for the 242 sq ft. UBC 1203.2. 3. Ledger connections shown in 1/3 & 213 does not meet the code
min. Provide 2-3/8X3” lags at 16” OC to support the proposed floor loads. 4. New window must
conform to the current energy stds. The U-value must be 0.75 ( Dual glazed window )
