Please make all corrections on the original tracings, as requested in the correction list. Submit three sets of plans for commercial/industrial projects (two sets of plans for residential projects). For expeditious processing, corrected sets can be submitted in one of two ways: Deliver all corrected sets of plans and calculations/reports directly to the City of Carlsbad Building Department, 2075 Las Palmas Drive, Carlsbad, CA 92009, (619) 438- 1161. The following are items not completely addressed from the previous plan review and corrections generated by the new information shown on the plans. 3. Item # 5 At detail E/3.1 show maximum height for proposed 25ga. 2 1/2" studs at 24"o.c.(1l'-1") from ICBO report #2274 and show size spacing and gage of studs to be used that exceed those for the 2 1/2" studs. The height shown on the detail of 13'-0" still exceeds the size and spacing of the studes per the manufacturer listing. Note, the suspended ceiling does not offer any lateral bracing unless specifically designed for that purpose. 4. Item # 6 When additional doors are provided for egress purposes, they shall conform to the width, swing and hardware provisions in Chapter 10. Sections 1004.3 and 1004.6. See Sec. 1004.12.Show an open passageway from the walled patio to the adjacent yard for exiting or if a gate is installed at the passageway show panic hardware at the gate leading to the adjacent yard. It is necessary to show the path of egress to the public way or yard on the plans. 5. Item # 11 Provide mechanical ventilation in all rooms capable of supplying outside air at a minimum rate of 15 cubic feet per minute per occupant. UBC, Section 1202.2.1 Show amount of outside air provided for the occupant load of the area on the M-1 sheet. Please use the occupant load determined by Table IOA UBC. 6. Item # 12 Show the vent for the pizza oven to extend separately to the outside from beneath the hood above or show the manufacturer's listed interlocking device required between the hood and the pizza oven per Section 818.2 UMC. No Response. 7. Item # 16 Provide construction details of required fire rated grease duct enclosure and hood enclosure. UMC, Sections 507.6, and 508.4.1 Please detail the rated shaft assembly.
