This letter is to make you aware of an overcharge in respect to a permit we
recently paid for on a building we're erecting in the Palomar Business Park,
2052 Corte del Nogal
It seems we were charged for a full office building, rather than a part warehouse
and office building, which it is
I understand that office space is figured on an EDU basis, 1800 s f for office
space and 5,000 s f for warehouse
Looking over the above referenced job, we discovered the city charged us too
much We figured the building represented 13 8 EDU's opposed to your figure
of 24 52 EDU's (Please examine enclosed floor plan for explanation ) This
difference adds up to $10,720 we were oveicharged
We realize this matter must go before the council
please let Chris Tallon know as soon as possible
see this matter resolved the first time around
If we have made an error
We would certainly like to
Please submit this to the council at the next available time You can well
agree that money out of our bank is not collecting interest, and therefore,
as the days pass, we lose money

At several locations purlins "Land" over bolts that
are through the hinges The building inspector questions
whether the bolts were left out, as it is not possible to
see them.
Upon discussing this with my field superintendent, I
have been assured that the ends of the purlins were dapped,
and the bolts installed.
Please forward a copy of this letter to the building
department. I have been assured this written confirmation
will satisfy the inspector
