1. Include the Utility fault current available and all feeder overcurrent device AIC
specifications onto the single line diagram.
2. Include a description summary of the water supply piping available to this facility. Include
all Utility water supply piping as well ·as any isolated piping due to a metallic to plastic to
metallic that may exist.
3. I see the note concerning transformer grounding. Is building steel available? Be sure to
detail the following: Compliance with NEC 250-30(a)3 for location connection to
electrode (and) NEC 250-104(a)4 (If applicable).
4. Describe any special locations that may exist, either interior or exterior of the building
and specify any specific wiring methods that may be necessary. Include: Dust-tight, wet,
and any of the Article 500's classified locations. Include the overall height of the
production area and the method(s) for conduit support from the roof structure to the floor
mounted equipment.
LIGHTING ENERGY CONSERVATION
5. No energy design submitted or necessarily required. Mechanical plans for this area have
not been submitted so it is an unknown if it contains conditioned space or not. If it does
contains conditioned space, provide the lighting documentation and design as required
by Title 24. If it does not contain conditioned or semi-conditioned space, then disregard

appurtances situated thereon, to recommend necessary changes.

Sprinkler system design shall be in accordanc~ with standards set forth by the National Fire
, Protection Association and UBC Standards 38-1 and 38-2. Permits are required prior to installation.
Plans, specifications and calculations shall be certified by a licensed fire protection engineer or other
person deemed competent by the Chief, and submitted in the name of a licensed sprinkler
contractor.
Warehouse buildings for which no specific use, occupant, product, activity or storage array has been
identified, shall be protected by sprinkler system designed to deliver water at the rate of .45 gallons
per square foot, throughout a 3000 square foot design area.
