Upon request, I met with building inspector Mr Tim Phillips at the project site on February 21,
2003 to conduct a walkthrough of the subject structures in the presence of Mr. Martin Luna of
T&B Equipment Company, Inc , Foreman Israel of Outback Sports and Mr Ben Gibbs of PGA
It's to the best of my knowledge that all bleachers and trophy suites were properly installed
according to the approved plans, the industry's standard practice and the guidelines issued by this
office As a third party to perform the inspection, I am confident that they are structurally sound
and are capable of serving the intended purposes

the 3rd party to certify that the structures are being installed and set as drawn up the plans

call for inspection We are currently looking at 2/21/03 as a completion date for all structures

Good morning Ben Thanks for communicating thru this system Raenette pulled last year's permit to
review how we handled the fee/ inspection etc We noted the permit expired because no inspections were
ever completed for the permit (final inspection)
The first time we did this (before the tournament went to Australia for one year), you guys had the
bleachers inspected and certified by a third-party engineer to determine they had been installed correctly
As I recall this was more expeditious due to Tour's schedule constraints That engineer did have the
bleacher contractor make some required adjustments to the bracing etc Our inspector then collects the
third-party inspection summary and signs off on the permit as "ok for occupancy" This should cover the
Tour from a paperwork perspective
Last year this evidently didn't happen, and it's understandable given the other things that happen as the
event unfolds So I asked Raenette to remind you that it's a good idea to have the grandstands and the
"suites" certified as installed correctly by a third party and forward that certification c/o me for permit
sign-off prior to thier use The $60 building permit fee is for the administrative charge of processing the
permit thru bldg and fire depts
Wednesdays are pretty swamped for me, but I will try to call you at 8 this morning

Mr Kelly, I am a little confused on a few issues with the permits that we
require for the above mentioned event
I believe that last years permit was never fulfilled, this would be due to
my ignorance of the process, I see that we are $60 in arrears and other
than paying the due fee I am not sure what else we can do other than make
sure that we comply with all codes and practices this year
I will come by tomorrow and pick up a hard copy of the permit application
as the one that Raynette faxed through is illegible If you are available I
would like to clarify exactly what is required of us so that we ensure that
everything that is required is submitted to you and approved
