PLEASE READ
Please make all corrections, as requested in the correction list. Submit FOUR new complete
sets of plans for commercial/industrial projects (THREE sets of plans for residential projects).
For expeditious processing, corrected sets can be submitted in one of two ways:
1. Deliver all corrected sets of plans and calculations/reports directly to the City of Carlsbad
Building Department, 1635 Faraday Ave., Carlsbad, CA 92008, (760) 602-2700. The City will
route the plans to EsGil and the Carlsbad Planning, Engineering and Fire Departments.
2. Bring TWO corrected set of plans and calculations/reports to EsGil, 9320 Chesapeake
Drive, Suite 208, San Diego, CA 92123, (858) 560-1468. Deliver all remaining sets of plans
and calculations/reports directly to the City of Carlsbad Building Department for routing to their
Planning, Engineering and Fire Departments.

2. Please clearly specify what the hot water system is intended to be used for. Is it a hot
water potable water system? Is this a non-potable water system used for heating?
Please address.
3. Please provide pipe listing standards and pipe material standards on to the plans. Note:
Please review CPC 605.11.1.
4. Is detail #2 on sheet MP0.2 is the pre-insulated piping field installed or part of the
manufactured piping material? List the insulation values and/or thickness.
5. 12" is generally the minimum depth for portable water systems. Please address detail #3
on sheet MP0.2.
