The permit is to add a new door and access path for room service such that the access is relocated from the north side of the clubhouse to the south side of the clubhouse We propose a ramp that ties into the existing golf cart system that will only be accessed by room service carts There will be no pedestrian access along this ramp from either end Esgil has stated that we need your approval to not design the ramp to meet disabled accessibility requirements These requirements would require make the ramp mfeasible, • Adding 5 landings of 6' long each would not fit into the existing slope and area Decreasing the length to accommodate the landings would increase the slope adobe the 1 12 recommendation of the cart manufacturer • Adding handrails would limit the cart accessibility or make the ramp wider causing additional grading problems The handrails become an eyesore sticking out of the hillside This is important for views from the golf course, especially national TV coverage This is currently a steep slope with no pedestrian access Upon construction, planting will be added outside the meeting room to prohibit pedestrian accessibly even more In addition, there is nowhere for anyone to go if they decided to use the ramp since it enters the room service yard area We will paint "no pedestrian access" at the bottom of the ramp /e any further questions, please give me a call AIA t, #C-11868 Architect of Record for Above Permit Q) 0 o ~ 73 >O 00 0©> O I 7JS O m 00m Dm JO Do 5
