When alterations, structural repairs or modifications or additions are made to an existing building, that building, or portion of the building affected, is required to comply with all of the requirements lor new buildings, per Section 1134B 2 These requirements apply as follows a) The area of specific alteration, repair or addition must comply as "new" construction b) A primary entrance to the building and the primary path of travel to the altered area, must be shown to comply with all accessibility features c) Existing sanitary facilities that serve the remodeled area must be shown to comply with all accessibility features 5 Show on the plans the disabled accessible path of travel from the adjacent buildings to the proposed bar addition It is not clear on the plans that there is disabled access from the Clubhouse and other surrounding building to the proposed pool bar An enlarged site plan has been provided but it is not clear on the site plan how the people using the pool bar would access the clubhouse Is these and elevator or lift provided for access9 The only access appears to be exterior steps How do the people using the pool access the bar ft appears that the only access from the pool to the bar is via exterior steps Please clarify • PLUMBING The plans resubmitted for recheck now contain kitchen plans that show extensive plumbing The following applies to the backflow preventer for carbonated beverage dispensers installed within the carbonated beverage dispenser The carbonated beverage dispenser shall bear the label of an approved testing agency, certifying and attesting that such equipment has been tested and inspected, and meets the requirements of the approved applicable standard Carbonated beverage dispensers without an approved internal airgap or vented backflow preventer for carbonated beverage dispensing systems shall have the water supply protected with a vented backflow preventer for carbonated beverage dispensers As per UPC,
