For additions or improvements to a residence built before 1994, note on the plans that existing "noncompliant" fixtures (toilets that use more than 1.6 gallons of water per flush, urinals that use more than one gallon of water per flush, showerheads that have a flow capacity of more than 2.5 gallons of water per minute, and interior faucets that emit more than 2.2 gallons of water per minute) shall be replaced. Certification of compliance shall be given to the building inspector prior to final permit approval. California SB407. 4. Please update the calculations and structural plans to the 2013 CBC. Both reference the 2010 CBC. Figure 1609A, CBC is now based on ultimate wind speed so that should be listed on the plans and calcs (116 mph ult = 90mph asd). 5.
