Air Leakage Requirements. For openable exterior windows (required steel fire-rated windows are exempt), the air infiltration and exfiltration rate shall not exceed 0.5 cfm linear foot of crack. All windows shall be certified and labeled and shall comply with ANSI A134.1-1972 or NWMA IS-2. Fixed windows constructed on site shall be sealed to limit air infiltration. For exterior sliding glass doors, the air infiltration and exfiltration rate shall not exceed 0.75 cfm per linear foot of crack. All sliding glass doors shall be certified and labled as complying with ANSI A134.2- 1972 or NWMA 18-3.
