Dear Mr. Harris,
In accordance with your request, we have performed equilibrium density testing on a sample of lightweight concrete
obtained during the placement at roof deck in-fills on September 30, 2009. The testing was performed on one set of
two 6" x 12" test cylinders cast during the concrete placement. The lightweight concrete was mix design #V838P AE
supplied by Superior Ready Mix. Our testing was performed in accordance with ASTM C567 "Standard Test Method
for Determining Density of Structural Lightweight Concrete". The test results presented in the following table represent
the set's average calculated equilibrium density.

As defined by ACI 318, structural lightweight concrete shall have a maximum calculated equilibrium density of 115 pcf.
Based on the subject test results, the concrete represented by these sample sets appears to meet this criterion. If you
