On the plans, provide a list of the types of dust collected by each dust collection system. (All Steel?) B. Clearly show the Class of exhaust ducts (Class 4 or Class 5?). C. Show the sheet metal thickness of the ducts as per UMC, Table 5-B. D. Clearly show the CFM rating of the existing dust collector. E. The plans show a total of 12-4 diameter duct drops on the dust collector. Not the 11-4 diameter duct drops used in the make-up air calculations. Please correct. F. The table for the CFM for 4,000 velocity is incorrect. The CFM values for the 5 inch, 6 inch, 9 inch, and 10 inch diameter ducts are too low. G. The minimum duct conveying velocities are less than 4,000 fpm minimum conveying velocity, for metal chips and turnings as per UMC, Section 505.4 and Table 5-A.
