Every permit issued by the Building Official under the provisions of this code shall expire by limitation and

the date of such permit (unless issued prior to 7 /1/99 which is one year from date of permit), or if the building or
work authorized by such permit is stopped at any time after the work is commenced for a period of 180 days or if
the building or work authorized by ,such permit ex~eeds three calendar years from the issuance date of permit.
Work shflll be pres.urned to nave commenced if the permittee has obtained a required inspection approval of work
~uthorized by the permit by the Building Official within 180 days of the date of permit issuance.· Work shall be · ·
presumed to be stopped if the permitte~ has not obtained a required inspection approval of work by the Building
