As we discussed on the phone, it is not necessary to provide blocking around the edges of an 18 11 square opening cut through the plywood sheathing of a panelized roof system when the opening is located between the 2x subpurlins. A panelized roof system, by nature of the way it's constructed, is a blocked diaphragm since it has framing members located at the edges of all of the sheets of plywood. Cutting an opening within one of the sheets of plywood does not alter the fact that the edges of the plywood panel are still blocked.
