Provide a statement on the Title Sheet of the plans stating that this project shall comply with the 1998 edition of the California Building Code (Title 24 ): which adopts the 1997 UBC, UMC and UPC and the 1996 NEC. 2. The width of the required level area on the side into which doors swing shall extend 24 inches past the strike edge for exterior doors and 18 inches past the strike edge for interior doors. Title 24.
