Any waste streams or waste solvents generated during the course of completing the testing and EPA analyses will be stored on site in appropriate hazardous waste containers, properly manifested, and t~ansported by a licensed hazardous waste hauler to an appropriate disposal facility. Hazardous waste generation is estimated to be less thah 100 pounds per mdnth. Accumulated waste will be stored in a designated and labeled h&zardous wa~te storage area. No waste will be stored on site for more than 90 days. In conducting all treatability testing and laboratory analyses, SOUND will keep samples on a concrete pad in~id~ a controlled storage room equipped with a safety ~hower/ey~ wash in a berm~d area. Acids will be stored under laboratory hbods, bases stored in' metal cabinets, and flammable solvents in flammable solvents cabinets. ,Incompatible chemicals will be kept safely separated. The following hazardous materials list identifies the quantities of anticipated chemicals which may. be in use or stored at the facility. The list is presented to allow direct comparison to Tables 9-A and 9-B in. the 1988 Edition of the Uniform Building Code.
