I observed the installation procedures and torque tested the wedges anchors as noted below.
Anchor type and size: 3/4" Simpson Wedge All SS.
Locations: ledgers for proposed exterior cladding on the North, South, East and West elevations at plan locations.
Minimum embedment: 6" into the (E) tilt up wall panels.
Minimum torque: 150 ft. lbs. per Table 1 of ESR-3037.
Note: All holes were drilled with a rotary hammer drill and carbide tipped drill bit. The wedge anchors were driven in with a sledge
hammer followed by torquing with an electric impact. Each bolt was verified to meet the minimum specified torque by means of a
calibrated torque wrench. No failures occurred. The entire procedure meets or exceeds plan details and ESR-3037 requirements.
No discrepancies were observed or noted.
All work is subject to City of Carlsbad approval.

GENERAL
1. Please make all corrections, as requested in the correction list. Submit FOUR new
complete sets of plans for commercial/industrial projects {THREE sets of plans for
residential projects). For expeditious processing, corrected sets can be submitted in one of
two ways:
1. Deliver all corrected sets of plans and calculations/reports directly to the City of
Carlsbad Building Department, 1635 Faraday Ave., Carlsbad, CA 92008, (760) 602-2700.
The City will route the plans to EsGil and the Carlsbad Planning, Engineering and Fire
Departments.
2. Bring IWQ corrected set of plans and calculations/reports to EsGil, 9320 Chesapeake
Drive, Suite 208, San Diego, CA 92123, (858) 560-1468. Deliver all remaining sets of
plans and calculations/reports directly to the City of Carlsbad Building Department for
routing to their Planning, Engineering and Fire Departments.
NOTE: Plans that are submitted directly to EsGil only will not be reviewed by the City
Planning, Engineering and Fire Departments until review by EsGil is complete.

2. Provide the names, addresses and telephone numbers of the owner and the responsible
design professionals on the Title Sheet. Sec. 107.2.
3. All sheets of the plans and the first sheet of the calculations are required to be signed by
the licensed architect or engineer responsible for the plan preparation. California State
Law.
4. Please ensure that plans are prepared in a permanent medium. See penciled in
address.
5. Provide a Building Code Data Legend on the Title Sheet. Include the following code
information for each building proposed:
