Please indicate on the plans the signage indicating optional stand-by service at the utility service and at the UPS per section 702.8 If the generator and the ATS are new then include the following specifications on the single line diagram when utilizing a four pole ATS: The grounding electrode, conductor size, and the neutral bond at the generator (NEC 250-26), and both required signs installed at the service. NEC 700-8 (a & b) Please revise the single line diagram to show the grounding system for the generator and distribution system. Please provide the listing and installation information for the new generator. Indicate the manufacturer's name and model number on the plans. Please indicate if the data center will be an Information Technology Equipment Room and comply with Article 645 of NEC. It is unclear if a raised floor system will be installed in the data center. If s.o please provide the listing and installation information for the raised floor system. 4. Please clarify the electrical single line diagram. It is unclear if the generator and UPS system are new? If new please provide complete plans and specifications: See comment above. 5. When new rooms or spaces are constructed and the existing mechanical system is not to be altered other than relocation of existing duct work; please note or show mechanical ventilation will be provided capable of supplying outside air at a minimum rate of 15 cubic feet per minute per occupant. The plans indicate the relo(?ation of a 10 ton HVAC unit, please indicate the operational weight of the unit and show the existing roof structure at the new location is adequate to support the new load. The test is·condncted in accordaJ1ce with the procedure outlined in ASTM E 84-0lt "Standard Test Method for Surface Burning Characteristics of Building Materials'' (NFPA 255, ANSI/UL 723 and UBC 8-1). . . . ·This test tµethod for the comparative surface buming behavior of building mate1;i~s is applicable t-0 e~posed. surfaces, such as ceilings or walls, provided that the m~teria.1 or assembly of materials,-by its own structural quality or the m~er in which it is tes~ed and intended for use, is capable of supporting itself in position or being supported during the test period. These tests are conducted with the material .in the ceiling· position. . . . Tbe.plµJ)ose of this test method is to deter.mine the relative burning behavior of the material by observing the flame spread along the specimen. Flame Spread and Smoke Developed index are reported. However, there is not neces~arily a relationship between these two measurements. Fo1:-' each test, a specimen measuring nt least 21 in. wide x 24 ft long is req~ired. l'he·specimen may consist of a continuous, unbroken length, or of sections joined end-to-end. When requested by the Client. specimens are prepared at SwRI followi:J1g the Client's instructions. Unless otherwise indicated by the Client, test specimens are conditioned as appropriate in an atmosphere maintained between 68 and 78°F and 45 to 55% relatlv~ humidity. · · , . . Immediately prior to the test, the specimen is mounted in tl)e furnace with the si~ to be tested facing the test flame, Sometimes, because of the nature of the material undergoing testing, additional support (e,g. wire, wire and rods, rods, ·and/or bars) is used to ensure that the specimen will remain in position during the test. The use of supporting materials on the underside of the test specimen may lower the Flame Spread Index from that which might be obtained if the specimen could be tested without such support, and the test results do not necessarily relate to indices obtained by testing materials without su.ch support. < ~ ., . . , , · The flame front position and light obscuration are recorded throughout the 10-minute test and used to calculate the F~ame · Spread and Smoke Developed indices, The tempera~re at 23 ft is also recorded. · . The Flame Spread and Smoke Develop~ indices reported herein .are relative to the ~sults obtained for . mineral fib~r-reinforced cement-board and select grade red oak (moisture content between 6· and 8%). The mj.neral fiber-reinforced cement board is the calibratiop. material used t0-obtain O v$lues for Flame Spread and Smoke; red oak decks-ar~ used to obtain 100 values for Flame Spread and Smoke. , . . .
