Anchor bolts were installed as spacing as dictated in the retrofit plans for 2408 La Costa Avenue, Carlsbad, California. The installation process involved drilling of holes to depths of approximately 5-1/2 inches in the foundation stem wall, cleaning of holes with compressed air and wire brush, infilling of holes with Simpson high streo,;Hfol-~ type epoxy, and placement of anchor bolts until the epoxy material extruded fr e top o the hole. The anchor bolt installation was performed in general accord with manuf urers specifications and as required by the retrofit plans. The installation process involved drilling of holes to depths of approximately 5-1 /2 inches in the foundation stem wall, cleaning of holes with compressed air and wire brush, infilling of holes with Simpson high strength set type epoxy, and placement of anchor bolts until the epoxy material extruded from the top of the hole.
