Otherwise, show how where your lateral resisting structure is located Provide calcs. Call out the size and length of the lags proposed to attach the ledger to the existing rim joist shown in detail 1/2 6 Agreed Section 3/2 and the partial elevation of the front of the deck clearly shows that the support posts run down the face of the deck and are attached with 5/8 inch lags It is also true that no supporting posts are shown on the sides of the deck running back to the dwelling. Please show how you will attach the side guards.
