The forms for application must be completed and supported by the following documentation, 1) a signed line item cost estimate from a licensed contractor or architect showing the cost of the tenant improvement, 2) a signed line item cost estimate from a licensed contractor or architect for the elements to be improved equaling 20% of the valuation of the project. Upon completion of the application, it and the supporting documents must be submitted to the Building Official of the City of Carlsbad for approval.
