8. When the character of the occupancy or use changes within a building from B
occupancy Office to Daycare, the building must be made to comply with current
Building Code requirements for the new occupancy. Please provide complete
details to show the building will comply. Section 3405.
9. Identify existing walls to be removed, existing walls to remain and proposed new
walls. Identify bearing walls; non-bearing walls, and shear walls.
10. Please provide a door schedule; indicate the type of hardware and reference the
doors on the floor plan.
11-. Please provide a dimensioned site plan showing the E occupancy to front directly
on a public street or an exit discharge not less than 20' in width. The exit·
discharge to the public way shall be a 20 foot wide right of way, unobstructed
and maintained only as access to the public street. At least one required exit

USC.
12. Each door in a means of egress from an occupancy of Group E having an
occupant load of 50 or more. shall not be provided with a latch or lock unless it is
panic hardware. Section 1008.1.9.
