LEVELING. ANCHORING AND BRACING; 1. Tighten all set screws in each base stanchion socket. .* •••• 2. Level machine by sighting atong top of conveyor. Check for any dips 3. Eliminate uneven dips by raising the conveyor and tightening set screws Mn thf upper socket, or adjusting hanging supporte. 4. Check to see that all fastenings are tight 5. Anchor bases to floor with lag screws or botts. 6. It is important that you also SWAY BRACE vour conveyor to some rigid struchire of building (wall, ceiling, column, etc.). This is necessary to protect your conveyor against sudden sitarting or stopping motions, uneven loading, etc. To sway brace your conv^or effectively, a minimum of three braces are recommended Use two braces on the length of the conveyor (using pipe or angle irons) and one brace on the end Bolt from the upper cross frames of conveyor to buikiing. • • • • a • • • • • • • • * • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • < • • • • CNT OF YOKE ASS^ ONLY (PARTS 1 THfU 8) ORDER PART NO 1542-01-AA HEAD ON OPPOSITE SDE 16)0N OPPOSITE SIDE 5 1/2" i EVERY SECOND FRAME HEAD ON OPPOSITE SIDE 1/2" 40 1/2" CLEAR FOR GARMENTS 41" ON OPPOSITE SIDE • • • • • • • • • < • • • • • • • • • _n.^ __n— • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • » • I • • • VIEW IS FROM J^ff pr CHAIN UPPER CHAIN ASS'Y 1531-12-AA P/N DESCRIPTION 0015-OJ-PA YOKE. SPEED REDUCER DRIVE CHAIN ADJUSTMENT This roller chain connecting the speed reducer and the dnve sprocket is properly adjusted prior to leaving the factory. However, after an initial break-in period, this chain stretches and should be readjusted. Failure to readjust will result in the drain sagging causing misalignment witir the sprocket and accelerated chain wear. To adjust the roller chain, refer to Maintenance Manual, page 14 7. MOTOR DRIVE BELT ADJUSTMENT; The drive belt between the motor and speed reducer is properiy adjusted upon installation at the factory. Shouki adjustment become necessary during service, refer to Maintenance Manual, page 14. 8. (Ched( for dirt picked up during shipping). • Look for parts damage in shipment. NOTE: Because single phase capacitor start motors are not instantly reversible, you must wait 2 seconds before changing conveyor direction. If the conveyor has a 3-phase motor, a time delay is buiK into the electrical starting circuit to prevent instantaneous reversal of the conveyor. • • • • • • 10 RUNG # 100 110 130 130 140 ISO 180 170 lao 190 WO 210 230 230 240 2S0 360 UNE1 MIWAC HOT FUSE ar I CUSTOMER lOTOR HP im tsbxf FUSE 1/2 3/4 IM KUNSRunirR GROUND 1 0UNE2 WUTRM.
