A representative of LGC Valley, Inc. observed the on-site soil conditions. The soil conditions at
the site are substantially in conformance with those assumed in the geotechnical report.
A representative of LGC Valley, Inc. observed the footing excavation(s). The footing
excavation(s} extend into the proper bearing strata and are in general conformance with the
recommendations of the geotechnical report.
1. Footing excavations should be cleaned of loose soil and debris and thoroughly moistened just prior to placing the concrete.
2. Line and grade of the footing excavation(s) are not part of the purview of LGC Valley, Inc.
3. In the event of a site change subsequent to our observation of footing excavations and prior to concrete placement (i.e. heavy rain, a
construction/placement delay, etc.), LGC should be contacted to perform a recheck of footing excavations and site observations,
as necessary.

Michael Baker International has performed a field survey on March 20, 2018 to field check the
building footing forms for Lots 40-43 & 59 on Glasgow Drive. The results of the field survey reveal
the footing forms to be within substantial conformance, both horizontally (0.1 O'~ and vertically
(0.05':t) with the City of Carlsbad approved precise grade plans DWG 480-3C, dated January 5,
2017.
