Please make all corrections on the original tracings, as requested in the correction
list. Submit three sets of plans for commercial/industrial projects (two sets of plans
for residential projects). For expeditious processing, corrected sets can be
submitted in one of two ways:
1. Deliver all corrected sets of plans and calculations/reports directly to the City of
Carlsbad Building Department, 1635 Faraday Ave., Carlsbad, CA 92008, (760)
602-2700. The City will route the plans to EsGil Corporation and the Carlsbad
Planning, Engineering and Fire Departments.
2. Bring one corrected set of plans and calculations/reports to EsGil Corporation,
9320 Chesapeake Drive, Suite 208, San Diego, CA 92123, (858) 560-1468.
Deliver all remaining sets of plans and calculations/reports directly to the City of
Carlsbad Building Department for routing to their Planning, Engineering and Fire
Departments.
NOTE: Plans that are submitted directly to EsGil Corporation only will not be
reviewed by the City Planning, Engineering and Fire Departments until review by
EsGil Corporation is complete.
These corrections are in response to items not fully addressed or as the
result of information provided, the text in bold print indicates the
unresolved issue.
1. Please revise the plans to show the glazed wall thickness consistent with the
Table provided on sheet A6.2 and show the 10' high wall to be minimum %"
tempered glazing . Section 107.2. Please revise the plans to be consistent.
Note 5 on sheet A2.1 indicates Vs" tempered glazing, detail 4 on sheets A6.2
indicates Vii' tempered glazing and the elevation B on sheet A6.2 indicates
VA" tempered glazing all for the same wall?
2. Provide the method of compliance as required by the energy building
regulations (Title 24) for this tenant improvement:
• Provide documentation of the original energy design with modifications
(additions or alternations) as applicable for this tenant improvement. (If
energy design was part of the "shell" permit) or
• Provide a complete energy design as required for a new building. Please
have the document author and principle designers sign the forms and
imprint the required forms on the plans. Revise the plans to show the
insulation required in the energy documents.
3. Please revise the plumbing plans to show the total aggregate vent area to be
equal to the required sewer size per section 904.1 ofthe UPC. (A minimum of
7.06 square inches). The plans show a 4" pipe connected to 2-2" vent pipe
this does not equal 7.06 inches of free air to the sewer. Please correct.
To speed up the review process, note on this list (or a copy) where each
correction item has been addressed, i.e., plan sheet, note or detail number,
calculation page, etc.

Please make all corrections on the original tracings, as requested in the correction
list. Submit three sets of plans for commercial/industrial projects (two sets of plans
for residential projects). For expeditious processing, corrected sets can be
submitted in one of two ways:
1. Deliver all corrected sets of plans and calculations/reports directly to the City of
Carlsbad Building Department, 1635 Faraday Ave., Carlsbad, CA 92008, (760)
602-2700. The City will route the plans to EsGil Corporation and the Carlsbad
Planning, Engineering and Fire Departments.
2. Bring one corrected set of plans and calculations/reports to EsGil Corporation,
9320 Chesapeake Drive, Suite 208, San Diego, CA 92123, (858) 560-1468.
Deliver all remaining sets of plans and calculations/reports directly to the City of
Carlsbad Building Department for routing to their Planning, Engineering and Fire
Departments.
NOTE: Plans that are submitted directly to EsGil Corporation only will not be
reviewed by the City Planning, Engineering and Fire Departments until review by
EsGil Corporation is complete.
1. Please revise the plans to show the glazed wall thickness consistent with the
Table provided on sheet A6.2 and show the 10' high wall to be minimum %"
tempered glazing . Section 107.2.
2. Provide the method of compliance as required by the energy building
regulations (Title 24) for this tenant improvement:
• Provide documentation of the original energy design with modifications
(additions or alternations) as applicable for this tenant improvement. (If
energy design was part of the "shell" permit) or
• Provide a complete energy design as required for a new building.
3. Please indicate on the plans the location of the electrical panel and detail the
required working clearance.
4. Show on the plan that ground-fault circuit-interrupter protection complies with
NEC Art. 210-8 All 125-volt, single-phase, 15- and 20- ampere receptacles
installed at sinks shall be protected.
5. Please have the document author and the principle designer of the LTG-1 C form
sign the imprinted document.
6. Please complete the LTG-1-C part 3 of 4 mandatory automatic controls portion
ofthe LTG-1-C forms.
7. Please revise the plumbing plans to show the total aggregate vent area to be
equal to the required sewer size per section 904.1 ofthe UPC. (A minimum of
7.06 square inches).
8. Where a pair of doors is utilized, at least one of the doors shall provide a clear,
unobstructed opening width of 32 inches, per Section 1133B.2.3.1.

This form is to be used by the designer and attached to the plans. Listed below are all the acceptance tests for mechanical systems. The designer is required to
check the boxes by all acceptance tests that apply and list all equipment that requires an acceptance test. If all equipment of a certain type requires a test, list the
equipment description and the number of systems to be tested in parentheses. The NJ number designates the Section in the Appendix of the Nonresidential
ACM IManual that describes the test. Also indicate the person responsible for performing the tests (i.e. the installing contractor, design professional or an agent
