Please make all corrections on the original tracings, as requested in the correction
list. Submit three sets of plans for commercial/industrial projects, (two sets of plans
for residential.projects). For expeditious processing, corrected sets can be
submitted in one of two ways:
1. Deliver all corrected sets of plans and calculations/reports directly to the City of
Carlsbad Building Department, 1635 Faraday Ave., Carlsbad, CA 92008, (760)
602-2700. The City will route the plans to EsGil Corporation and the Carlsbad
Planning, Engineering and Fire Departments.
2. Bring one corrected set of plans and calculations/reports to EsGil Corporation,
9320 Chesapeake Drive, Suite 208, San Diego, CA 92123, (858) 560-1468.
Deliver all_ remaining sets of plans and calculations/reports directly to the City of
Carlsbad Building Department for routing to their Planning, Engineering and Fire
Departments.
NOTE: Plans that are submitted directly to EsGil Corporation only will not be
reviewed by the City Planning, Engineering and Fire Departments until review by
EsGil Corporation is complete.
1. Show or note that the cash wrap counters shown on sheet A-4.1 will have
disabled access space that is at least 36" wide and 28" -34" above the floor.
2. Dimension in detail 54/A-6.1 the height of the disabled accessible section of
counter as 28" — 34" high.
3. Show on the new lighting plan on sheet A-2.1 the required exit signed and
emergency exit illumination per UBC 1003.2.8.4 7 1-003.2.9.1.
4. Show in. details 2, 9 & 10/A-13 the size of the plate and connection of the plate to
the steel studs -that are'used to fasten the wall or ceiling bracing to the existing
concrete deck.
5. How did you determine that the HILTI X-ZF fasteners @ 12" OC listed in details
9 & 10?A-13 is adequate to support the proposed new soffit framing?
6. Detail the connection of the steel tube braces shown in detail 3/A-13 to the
floor system -for the support of'the'partial height walls.
