This reference verifies the above information regarding grading on the subject site.
Our inspection revealed moisture contents of the upper 36 inches to be in excess of 3
percent over the optimum moisture content of the light-brown, fine to medium sand
and clayey sand comprising the upper 3 feet of finish-grade soils at the time of our
inspection.
In order to attain the optimum moisture content of the soils encountered, a maximum
density curve was prepared from on-site sampling. Maximum bnsity Determinations
were performed in accordance with A.S.T.M. 0-1557, Method D (see Figure NO. I).
