Since our last request for permit extension, the NCTD has internally reviewed our submittal and advised us there are rto further actions required for the Academy. We were advised in late June an agreement will be created and forwarded to us for our review. Consequently, we respectfully request a 180 day extension to permits #CB122104 and CBP.131510 located at 2600 Carlsbad Boulevard. This will allow time for us to continue to move towards reviewing an NCTD proposed agreement and hopefully achieve a satisfactory resolution of the storm water drainage issue. Since our last request for permit extension, the NCTD requested and received a third party engineering impact study. The study recommendation was that NCTD could safely enter into a license agreement with the Academy. Subsequently, NCTD requested the Academy provide all of the necessary documents for submittal, which we provided to them on November 21, 2014. We were advised in mid-December the review process was moving along smoothly, without any expected impediment. We have requested status from NCTD this week to determine the progress of their review. Consequently, we respectfully request a 180 day extension to permits #CB122104 and CB-Pt31·fr1-0~1ocated at 2600 Carlsbad Boulevard. This will allow time for us to continue to move to achieve a satisfactory resolution of the storm water drainage issue with both the City of Carlsbad and NCTD. Specifically, NCTD advised us of their requirement to engage a third party engineering firm to do an impact assessment of the storm water drainage against potential future NCTD rail line projects. NCTD expects that report next week, and when received, will do their internal review. This will allow time for us to continue to move to achieve a satisfactory resolution ofthe storm water drainage issue with both the City of Carlsbad and NCTD.
