The installed play system(s) by Play & Park Structures meets and/or exceeds the following certifications for the
above-mentioned playground improvement project as field observed on September 41 2017. The composite
play structure, swings and UltraShade are in compliance with to include but not necessarily be limited to:
• ADA This play system, is correctly installed with the proper surfacing and/or ramping meets or exceeds
the accessibility requirements of the American with Disabilities Act (ADA)
• IPEMA All Play & Park Structures equipment meets or exceeds the requirements set forth in CCR Title
22, Division 4, and Chapter 22. This is evidenced by independent third party certification from IPEMA. "In
the interest of public playground safety, IPEMA provides a 3rd Party Certification service whereby Detroit
Testing Laboratory. Inc. validates a manufacturer's certification of conformance to either the ASTM
F1487-98, ( excluding section 10 and 12.6.1) Standard Consumer Safety Performance Specification for
Playground Equipment for Public Use Standard or the ASTM F1292-99 Standard Specification for Impact
Attenuation of Surface Systems Under and Around Playground Equipment Standard."
• Title 22 ls in compliance with CCR Title 22, Division 4, Chapter 22, all newly installed Play & Park
Structures equipment has been installed per manufacturers' instructions insofar as it can be seen without
disassembling it or digging into the surface.
Finally, Owners must be aware of proper maintenance and should refer to close-out documentation that shall be
mailed to them by Play & Park Structures. Failure to properly maintain equipment and safety surfacing shall not
be considered part of the responsibility of the manufacturer or the installing contractor.
