La Costa Meados, Unit No. 4. -
The site is covered with'low chaparral and varieties of other small vegetation. The site slopes down from Arganauta Street to the northwest at approximately ten percent. The soil is composed of fractured shale of varying sizes, with minimal fines with some larger boulders that may or may not break down. On May 7. 1980 there was d final inspection by a City of Carlsbad
being 'finaled' the inspector required an adjustment of the final Building Inspector at 2606 Argonauta in Carlsbad, CL Before
grade. We then proceeded to contact our finish grader and explained to him what had to be done. Immediately after this, we had to be out of town for a few days. During this time the Owner of the residence at 2606 Argonauta contacted the then acting Building Director Ray Green, without our consent or knowledge. After we arrived back in town, the Owner notified us that he had met with the Building Director and the Building Director had given his

consent to the Owner moving in to the owner's house and that the

At this point in time we naturally assumed that the Building Department had done a reinspection on the residence and had given a 'Certificate of Occupancy' for this reason: it has always been
our understanding that only after receiving a final approval of all
departments in the City of Carlsbad could a gas meter be set by SDG&E .
