Show a self-closing door, either 1-3/8" solid core or a listed 20 minute assembly, for openings between garage and dwelling, i.e. on the garage side of the opening to the elevator in the garage. Section R302.5.1. 5. The detail from Savaria shows an elevator pit on sheet 2; the architectural plan shows an elevated slab. Please correct/explain. 6. Provide structural details and calculations to show that the proposed wall framing is adequate to support the elevator. It appears that the elevator car rails are bolted to a concrete wall in the savaria sheets. 7.
