As requested, submitted herewith are the design cross-sections for the proposed Keystone
retaining wall at the referenced site. The wall sections are based on the manufacturer's Keystone
Wall Program, Version 0.0.1.90, 2002, developed by Keystone Retaining Wall Systems, Inc.
The program utilizes the Rankine-with batter Methodology. The cross-section details provided
have been reviewed and determined to be suitable for use at this site. The following soil
parameters were utilized for the design. Due to the depth of the footings beneath the adjacent
house structure, the wall will not be surcharged by the house. In addition, due to the limited
height of the retaining portion of the wall, geogrid is not required for the small wall.
