Corrections made on original and prints run. One copy of original submission print with corrections noted and two new prints submitted to you and two to City of Carlsbad. 2. My name is on corrected prints. 3. I have also signed the revised prints for you and the City. 4. Noted on plans that changes will reduce glass area and building as revised meets Title 24, 1994 UBC, UMC, UPC and 1993 NEC. 5. Total value of work being done is estimated at $19,300. See attached breakdown I prepared and signed. 6. No sleeping rooms are created by the changes. Smoke detector will be added in all bedrooms and hall ways adjoining bed rooms to meet code. Noted on plans. 7. No safety glass needed. Window is more than 47" above new floor added and more than 60" from top of stairs @ landing. 8. No construction is proposed above stairs that effects head clearance. 5/8" DW noted on ceiling in closet added under stairs. 9. 2" x 12" FJ @ 12" oc noted on plans w/ hangers on added ledger on outside wall and on existing 6" x 12" beam under second floor wall. These FJ are less than 6* long. These FJ not over existing stairs. 10. Siding door is to remain in place. 11. Shelf above fireplace has been deleted from plans 12. Elevator shaft is noted to be one hour rated. Door have been changed to show 1 Hr rated assembly with closer. The windows on first floor will be covered by the elevator. Window will be furred in with wood framing inside the window opening and 5/8" DW. The elevator shaft will be framed inside the existing wall and have 5/8" DW inside the shaft. The window on the second floor behind the elevator shaft will be framed in and 5/8" DW added beyond the elevator shaft. The remaining window area will be open to the second floor area added. 13. Elevator Certificate of Compliance with Cert. # LR 54682-36S is attached. 14. Elevator will be installed by Atlas Elevator Company. Spec, sheets are attached that they have provided. 15. Structural Engineering Calc's and detail sheet are attached. TS 6 x 6 x 5/16 columns are added to support elevator Guide Rails. 16. Electrical service to each unit is 100 Amp Main and there is space in the sub panel on 2659 for the Elevator 220V 30Amp circuit for the Elevator. The present sub panels have 100 amp main breaker. Electrican's load calc's are attached. 1 7. No new electrical outlets are expected to be needed. The electrical contractor will relocate some of the existing outlets to locations shown on plans and will add outlets as needed to meet existing code where changes are being made. This note is added to plans. Corrections called out above on this sheet are noted with corresponding numbers on plans. There is a door added between units with a 1 Hr. assembly the same as the elevator doors with closer and steel frame and one hour rated door. There are several proposed changes on the original plans submitted that have been deleted from this revised plan. These include leaving he siding door as is in 2657, leaving the kitchen pantries as is in both 2657 and 2659, leaving the fireplace area as is in 2657, deleting some of the proposed walls to have been added in both units.
