As you know we own the property adjoining your property to the north. This letter is written to give my approval of the wall planned by you on your property along our common property line. I also give my approval of the drainage swale on your property being removed and the swale on our property handling all the runoff from both lots. The footing excavation for the retaining wall has removed some of the dirt from under the concrete drainage swale on our lot. When the footing is poured for the retaining wall it is important that this under cut be filled with concrete to protect the swale which will be serving both of our lots. Also any damage to the swale due to the footage excavation should be repaired when the footing is poured^ _^_ _ _ I expect the damage to our wall and landscaping, in the front yard setback area, will be repaired by your contractor.
