In accordance with your request, GeoTek Inc. has reviewed the foundation plans and details
presented on Sheets SN-I, SD-I, and S-1.1 of the Structural Plans for Beachwalk Juniper
prepared by Gouvis Engineering latest revision dated June 20, 2016 issued June 4, 2015 (PN
63767) for the foundations on the subject project. Based on our review the plans have
incorporated the recommendations in "Preliminary Geotechnical Evaluation, APN 203-1 I 0-0 I,
Madison Street Project, Carlsbad, California", by GeoTek, Inc. dated April 14, 2015. (PN 3441-
SD3) and are in general conformance with the intent of findings and recommendations therein.
