This is consistent with the stud gage listed on detail 4/A4, meets the restrictions of I.C.8.0 . #3403-P,
and is the material used for the currently framed wall construction at Suite 150, as stated by
Richard Steinhauer of RE. Steinhauer Construction.
Architectural Clarification, Response to Item No. 2
Detail 9/A4 calls for 3-5/8" x 25 GA studs at 24" O.C. and meets one hour fire rating per the prescriptive
standards set forth in the 2007 version of the California Building Code, Table 720.1 (2), Item number 13-
1.1.
Per Richard Steinhauer of R.E. Steinhauer Construction, existing one hour corridor wall construction
consists of 25 GA studs at 24" OC.
Architectural Clarification, Response to Item No. 3
The new fire extinguisher shall be surface mounted I wall hung at a maximum height of 40" above
finished floor and in the same location currently indicated by key note number five on the plans. This
negates the necessity of detail 5/A5 which can be marked out as omitted.
No framing detail required.
