AND RAILINGS Floors above the second story shall have not less than 2 exits. Exceptions: 1. Occupied roofs may have one exit if such occupied areas are less than 500 square feet and located no higher than immediately above the second story. 2. When the third floor within a unit does not exceed 500 sq. ft., only one exit need be provided. Section 3303(a).
