I visually inspected the preparation of the epoxy (mixing) and hole cleaning and blow out prior to installation'. Due to.my inspection, I conclude that the bolts were installed- in accordance with the UBC and Simpson ICBO requirement including the consistency with my ca lculations for said bolts. On 1/29/2001, 1 again went to the site to witness a stress (p.ull-out) test on some anchor bolts, consistent again with the Simpson requirements. All the tests exceeded the pull out i quired by the UBC. force of 2,000,which is more than*adequate and more-than re Acc6rdingiy; my conclus . ion is that the bolts are adequately adhered to the ex isting concrete and should therefore provide, better anchorage than a freshly ,instal led anchor in fresh concrete.
