the upper three feet below finished grade in the proposed building area at the subject
site in Carlsbad, Califania.
The soil samples were obtained on December 13, 1977 and the results of the moisture

It is concluded from the field observations of the various soil types and the final results
of the moisture determinations that the soils in the upper three feet below finished grade
at the locations sampled have been sufficiently moistened to minimize the potential
expansion of the soils as recanmended in our repat under Project No. 71-3-24D, dated
September 10, 1973.
